This is a story about a junior manager and his female colleague, at a mega Food Processing company in the city. The secretive love birds succeeded in keeping their affair away from everyone in the office until something unfortunate happened.
Due to the secretive nature of their affair, they weren't fully committed to each other. So, eventually, when the lady, Isabella, found out she was pregnant, the guy, Francis, wasn't sure how to react to the unwanted pregnancy. Unfortunately, the saga spins out of control.
SCENE OPENS TO A BIG OFFICE WITH MULTIPLE WORKSTATIONS - DAY
A bustling office environment with employees going about their tasks. FRANCIS, a junior manager in his mid 30s, and ISABELLA, an attractive lady in her late 20s, work side by side, yet maintain a professional distance.
Isabella spies Francis from her seat and winks at him. He nods at her, a signal indicating he's cool with her spending the night in his place after the close of work.
SCENE SHOWS INTERIOR OF FRANCIS' APARTMENT - NIGHT
Francis and Isabella lie in bed, post-intimacy, engaging in a serious discussion.
ISABELLA
(slightly anxious) Ehn ehn Francis, I have something important to tell you.
FRANCIS
(uncertain) Okay. What is it, Bella?
ISABELLA
(nervously) I think I've missed my monthly visitor. It should have started two days ago. I feel like I'm pregnant.
Francis' face contorts with surprise and confusion.
FRANCIS
(stammering) Pregnant? But we never...
ISABELLA
(interjecting) I know, dear. We've not really defined what we have, but I thought...
Francis interrupts her, his doubts surfacing.
FRANCIS
(skeptical) You don't have to think and conclude all by yourself. How can I be sure that I'm the only man you're seeing? Yes, I know we have strong feelings for each other. Yes, I know I have told you we'll get married someday. But…
ISABELLA
(sobs) Baby what are you saying? I thought we're already heading for the altar together? Remember your sweet promises whenever we're making love.
FRANCIS
(angry and agitated) Bella, you have to take this thing easy. Pregnancy should not be on the cards now. Hopefully we'll get to that stage later.
Tension fills the room as their unspoken fears clash. Isabella takes the money, dresses up and leaves.

SCENE OPENS TO THE INTERIOR OF A CORPORATE OFFICE - DAY
Despite their personal turmoil, Francis and Isabella maintain their professional façade at the office the next day, working together with strained cordiality.
SCENE SHOWS INTERIOR OF A HOSPITAL - NIGHT
Isabella, sitting at the waiting area for the doctor on duty, resolved to face the situation alone. She decides to undergo an abortion without informing anyone, including her friends and family.
SCENE SHOWS ABORTION ROOM - NIGHT
The abortion procedure takes a devastating turn. Isabella's life slips away soon after the medical doctor finishes with her, leaving behind a haunting void.

A gloomy atmosphere at the office as the news of Isabella's untimely death hits her colleagues. Some of the ladies break down in unconsolable tears, the men fold their arms in disbelief with teary eyes. Francis pretend, acting surprise by the news of Isabella's death and acts along with everyone in the office.

Francis sits in darkness, haunted by guilt and remorse. He sits on his bed, lost in thought until he falls asleep.
